Orders Overview
Orders are a collection of Placements. If you are working with a client to fill multiple openings, its most likely a good idea to group those Placements into an Order for easy entry and tracking. Once you've created an Order, you can manage the associated Placements from within the Order itself, or in the general Placements section along with all of your other Placements. Its easy to create an Order. Its easy to fill Orders and Placements quickly when you're using StaffUpApp. You might even refer to it as Scheduling. :-) Orders are simply collections of Placements. You can choose to manage your Placements in the Placements Section, or from Orders individually. Placements Overview
Placements is the centralized area to manage all of your placements across all of your clients. Its your master "Scheduling" view so to speak where you can actively work on filling the schedule. Some placements will be attached to Orders, but its not required in order to create a placement. Its easy to create a Placement or Edit an existing one. By default there are three Placement Types, also known as Job Types. The three default Placement Types are: Temp Contract Full Time You can also add custom Placement Types if you'd like for your own internal tracking purposes, and to be displayed in various parts of the Recruiter Console and Mobile App. Custom Placement Types are always mapped to a Work Type. Timesheets are driven by the Timesheet Settings in the Placement Record. Each individual placement can operate differently, depending on how you set them. Its easy to copy a Placement. You have two options when doing this. You can choose to: Copy a Placement without a Candidate Copy a Placement with a Candidate This comes in really handy when you are filling similar placements over and over again. You can use any Placement you've ever created as a template for a new Placement. All you have to do is copy it, change any details (like dates or times), and then save it. For certain Placements, you may want to allow Candidates to negotiate rates and/or start and end times. This can be especially useful for last minute, or hard to fill placements. This is how it works. When creating a placement, tick the box for: Allow Rate Negotiation and/or Allow Time Negotiation When candidates express interest in an open placement, they can choose to express interest, "with conditions". Before you assign a candidate to an open Placement, its important to make sure they are compliant with company, client and position compliance requirements. Our Compliance Tracking feature will allow you to quickly identify which candidates are indeed compliant, which are "almost" compliant, and which are not compliant at all. Its inevitable that some of your clients will have either a preference or aversion for certain workers. The Timesheets section is where you can manage time across all of your clients and candidates. Timesheets are a collaborative effort between the Candidates you schedule (and whom log and submit time), the clients you partner with (and whom may or may not approve timesheets), and of course your internal team. Timesheets can be automatically submitted if Candidates forget to submit them. In order for timesheets to be automatically submitted, the setting must be enabled. Auto-Submit Timesheet Settings Enabled = If a candidate forgets to submit their timesheet, they will receive a reminder to submit their timesheet exactly 1 hour after the placement end time.
