Candidate records are created in your system automatically when a candidate registers a profile in the mobile app for the first time. The 'App Status' setting is a powerful yet simple way to ensure that only onboarded and approved candidates are able to see and express interest in Placements (Shifts, Assignments, Gigs, etc..). The equation is simple: Approved = Candidates CAN view published Shifts Unapproved = Candidates CANNOT view published Shifts There is also a global override on each candidate record called the 'Can view published shifts' toggle.
