Scheduling & Timesheets Overview (Start Here)

The Scheduling functionality encompasses 5 main components:

Orders - A collection of Placements
Placements - Also commonly referred to as Shifts, Assignments or Gigs
Who's Working - Real Time Dashboard of who is scheduled to work today, who has clocked in, who is on break, and who has clocked out
Timesheets - Centralized area to manage time collected from your candidates, related to the Placements they've been assigned to
Client Portal - A portal you can invite your clients to that allows them to see a limited version of Orders, Who's Working and Timesheets.

Please Note: If Clients are invited to your Client Portal, they will only have access to see data related to their own Orders, Locations & Candidates.

A few key concepts to understand

In order to schedule a worker, you must first create a Placement.
Placements start as 'Open', meaning they do not yet have a Candidate assigned yet
You can choose to Publish a Placement and wait for Candidates to express interest via the mobile app. You can choose to Offer a Placement to one or more Candidates instead of Publishing it, or you can simply Assign a Candidate to a Placement directly. Choose the best method for you based on the situation.
A Placement is always a one-to-one ratio. ONE PLACEMENT can only have ONE CANDIDATE assigned to it.
If you are looking to create multiple placements at a time, you want to use the Orders function. An Order is a collection of Placements. It is always more efficient to use the Orders function to create multiple open placements at a time.
