How to initiate the TempWorks + StaffUpApp Integration

Please follow these instructions to initiate the integration between TempWorks and StaffUpApp. The steps below need to be performed inside of TempWorks. These steps were given to us by TempWorks, so it might be helpful to reach out to them directly in case any of these instructions aren't clear or you have a specific question.

Service Rep Definition: A service rep, in essence, is a user account within TempWorks. It serves as the client's login credentials. Detailed instructions for creating a service rep can be found in the TempWorks Knowledgebase for reference. Below are a few articles that might be of use:

Step 1: Create a Service Representative

To kickstart the process, new clients should begin by creating a service representative (service rep) account in TempWorks. This account functions as their user profile for logging into the system and will be used for the integration.

Step 2: Define Access with a Personal Token

After setting up the service rep account, clients can grant it a personalized access token. This token dictates which system components the integration can access, providing clients with control over permissions.

Please ensure you grant the following tokens/permissions:

document-write (We use this to upload onboarding documents)
employee-read/write (Used to read and update candidate profile, pre-fill onboarding documents)
jobboard-read/write (Used to pull jobs into the app/system)
onboarding-eeo-read (Used to update onboarding documents)
onboarding-read/write (Used to update onboarding documents)
resumeparser (Used to optionally trigger resume parsing with new job application)
textmessage-write (Future function, pass through SMS)
ordercandidate-read/write (Future function)
email-write (Future function, pass through email)
message-write (Future function, pass through)

After you have completed the steps above, please alert the representative at StaffUpApp that requested you do this. We'll let you know the next steps from there.

Important: Once you have completed the above steps, please send your StaffUpApp Rep the following information:

1. AccountSID
2. AuthToken
3. Service rep username (that you just created)
